Solar Racking Success by the Numbers

April 26, 2019  |  Boulder, CO

E-solutions Energy installed 500kW on Sohnen, located in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. The project -- made up of 1,612 solar panels secured with EcoFoot2+ 10-Degree Racking Solution and all electrical work -- took only 19 days and eight installers to complete.

Four hundred APSystems microinverters were also installed, which is thought to be the largest microinverter installation in Latin America.

Key contributors to the speedy install are:

Project planning: Ecolibrium Solar designed the layout for the 1,307 sq. ft. array. Plans include bill of materials.

Speed of delivery: EcoFoot2+ Bases, Wind Deflectors and Preassembled Clamp Kits arrived at the Mexican border in just 18 days. International export and import support ensured reliable delivery to Tijuana.

Streamlined logistics: Only 14 pallets were required to ship all EcoFoot2+ components.  High packing density brings time- and cost-savings at every product movement.
